Probably the best Indonesian meal in Sydney! Loved the nasi Padang and mee goreng! Be sure to get the sambal terasi which has an amazing kick

If you want authentic Indonesian food, visit Enjoy Mie. My Indonesian friend recommended this place and it didn’t disappoint! What we ate: Beef Rendang + Gulai Nangka + Sambal Hijau (Slow-cooked spicy beef + jackfruit curry + green chili sambal) Ayam Geprek + Sambal Bawang (Crispy smashed fried chicken + garlic chili sambal) Sate Ayam (Chicken skewers with peanut sauce) Kwetiau Goreng – Beef (Stir-fried flat rice noodles with beef) Ikan Goreng + Sambal Matah (Fried fish + Balinese raw chili relish) Sup Rawon (East Javanese black beef soup) Big flavors in every bite! Dessert round: Martabak – Chocolate & Cheese (Indonesian thick pancake filled with chocolate & cheese) — been dying to try this and it didn’t disappoint! We LOVED it! Es Campur (Indonesian mixed shaved ice dessert) — lowkey reminded me of Filipino halo-halo ???????? Everything was 10/10, super authentic Indo-approved by my friend ????????

What we got doesn’t feel Indonesian. More like Chinese. The food came out quickly. I liked the curry chicken rice and stir fry rice noodles. The pancake was huge. The wait was for the pancake was 20+ minutes. The restaurant was pretty full around 7pm.

Enjoy Mie on Sussex Street is a delightful Indonesian spot that brings familiar flavours to Sydney’s city centre. One of its highlights is the famous Martabak Pecenongan—rich, indulgent, and just as satisfying as the versions you’d find in Jakarta. The restaurant has a warm, casual feel, making it easy to enjoy classic Indonesian comfort food without fuss. We ordered the fried tofu and tempeh with sambal, and they were simple but delicious—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and paired perfectly with the spicy dip. It’s the kind of place where the dishes feel authentic and comforting, ideal for anyone craving a taste of home or wanting to explore Indonesian cuisine in a relaxed setting.

A spacious and bright restaurant serving great Indonesian dishes. I had the Nasi Bungkus Padang here for $17.5 and it was pretty reasonably priced for the portion and the quality of food. The Ayam Bakar was tasty. The pork belly satay was a little fatty for me but was flavoured great with the sauce. I like the Es Lychee jelly here- sweet and refreshing.

Enjoy Mie Sydney is a haven for lovers of authentic Indonesian cuisine. While it's especially known for its delicious and varied noodle dishes, the menu also features a great selection of other Indonesian favorites. The flavors are rich and authentic, making it a go-to spot for a taste of home. The ambience is warm and welcoming, and the restaurant is conveniently located in one of Sydney’s busiest areas for Indonesian food — easy to find and always buzzing. The only downside is the limited vegetarian options. Still, it's a must-visit for anyone craving real Indonesian comfort food.

Decently sized and bright. We had the Nasi Bungkus Padang. It comes wrapped in a banana leaf. The Beef rendang was yummy. The sambals are amazing if your like it spicy. This is our 2nd visit and we were craving to have the Martabak but the wait was 35 minutes, so we didn't order. Next time we will order it along with the meals. We ordered Es Teler for dessert but we didn't enjoy it much. The ice was shaving were too big and the sweetness was not enough. the staff was warm and helpful.
